EyePhotoDoc for iPad

Comparison of Apple iPads

The iPad Mini 4 has an 8 megapixel camera and is the most popular EyePhotoDoc product.  It gives a good presentation to the patient of their eye findings and conveniently fits in a clinical coat pocket.

The iPad Air 1 and iPad Air 2 have larger and higher quality screens for showing patients their eye findings.

The newest iPad Pro 9.7" has a 12 megapixel camera which also has 4K capabilities

The Topcon,CSO, Marco, Zeiss, etc use a professional quality multi adapter. The left eyepiece gets a Doc-it™ ring which remains permenantly on the slit lamp for rapid camera alignment. The same Apple device can be used in multiple exam lanes using additional Doc-it™ rings, saving tens of thousands of dollars.

Most eye doctors prefer an essential illuminator on every slit lamp for the convenience of use.
